Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition announced for PSVR 2 in video

Already available on The Meta Quest 2, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will also arrive on the PSVR 2 in an Enhanced Edition. It is indeed the State of Play of Sony which announced the thing with a first sympathetic trailer.

An improved version of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge on its way to PSVR 2

This trailer shows us more or less what we already know about the software, released on the Meta Quest 2 in 2020. The VR title will put us in the shoes of a droid repair technician, who finds himself drawn into a great adventure despite himself, after crashing on the planet Batuu following an attack by a group of pirates.

Of course you will find iconic Star Wars characters like R2-D2 or C-3PO. You can also visit a certain Seezelslak in his cantina to accept various missions, or even embody other characters via legendary stories. The software will also take you to the Black Spire droid depot where Mubo will provide you with some equipment or weapons throughout your journey.

So much for the outline of this Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, including this Enhanced Edition will benefit from all the features that the future PSVR 2 will have to offer. In these, we will logically have 3D audio for good immersion or eye tracking, which will allow you to precisely follow the gaze and the head of the player. Of course, we should expect a bit better resolution than the Meta Quest 2 version, and that’s all we know for now about the various improvements of this PSVR2 version of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edgewhich will have additional information much later.

Regarding its release date, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition is scheduled to arrive on the PSVR 2 in 2023, without further details.
