A survey confirms what many fans should have already thought: The most popular villain in the "Star Wars" universe is Darth Vader.

There is no more popular villain in the "Star Wars" universe than Darth Vader. This is the result of a current survey by the British program guide "RadioTimes", which it carried out on its website. The cult villain won the race by a large margin.

Around 33 percent of the 10,000 participants voted Darth Vader, who was played in the original trilogy by David Prowse (1935-2020), who recently died of complications from Covid-19, as the best "Star Wars" villain. The other ranks are followed by the Imperator (around 18 percent) and Grand Admiral Thrawn, Darth Maul and Boba Fett with just under six percent each.

Jabba far behind

In 16th place, the last place in the competition, is Jabba the Hutte with just 158 ​​votes – around two percent. Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver (37), made it to at least ninth place with 354 votes (three percent).
