THE processors And graphics cards of the latest generations of AMD will therefore benefit from a royal gift… Finally, if the game is good of course!

After the release of Diablo IV and the one scheduled for the beginning of August Baldur’s Gate III, Starfieldis the big attraction of the summer on PC. AMD has understood this well.

A bundle for Ryzen processors…

For a few days now, AMD’s marketing department has been on the cusp to talk about a new partnership between the American firm and the developer of StarfieldBethesda.

A partnership first presented as “graphic” and which will result in the support of the super-sampling technique designed by AMD – the FidelityFX Super Resolution or FSR – under the nose and beard of NVIDIA and its DLSS (for Deep Learning Super Sampling).

Very quickly, however, there was talk of another dimension to this partnership, a more commercial dimension since several rumors mentioned the possibility of a gift offer for any purchase of a Ryzen processor.

…and Radeon RX graphics cards

Over the weekend, we had the end of the story and, no, this is not a bundle for any purchase of a Ryzen processor… but a bundle for any purchase of a Ryzen processor or a Radeon RX graphics card!

AMD is therefore firing on all cylinders by associating Bethesda’s super-production with all of its new ranges, even if the thing is ultimately a little more complex than initially planned. You can see the details in the image below: there are two distinct offers depending on whether we are talking about the premium edition or the standard edition of the game.

The premium edition will be offered to all buyers of a Ryzen 9 7000 series processor while the standard edition is planned for buyers of Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7, still in 7000 series.

For the Radeon RXs, the same distinction is made with the Radeon RX 67×0, 68×0, 69×0 and 79×0 giving the right to the premium version, while the Radeon RX 66×0 and 76×0 only allow you to obtain the standard version.

Be careful though, there are two things to remember. First, the offer only takes into account purchases of processors / graphics cards from July 11, 2023, not before. In addition, once the game code has been sent by AMD, it must be activated before October 28, 2023, when it is canceled.
