There is undoubtedly something deeper behind the joke. If the real object of the game is to survive, then all means are indeed good to keep afloat physical and mental capacities. In survival, there is no rule superior to that which stipulates that one must do everything in his power for his own conservation. From the point of view of the deep “ethics” of the game, the canoe-Deliveroo move is undoubtedly a masterstroke.
