  • The Steam Deck actually also includes a docking station.
  • As with the Nintendo Switch, you can use it to connect your handheld to your television.
  • Before release, however, Valve will add two USB 3.1 ports.

There are actually a few more accessories for Steam Deck, including a docking station that you might already know from the Nintendo Switch.

You can quickly convert the handheld into a console that you simply connect to your television via HDMI. So far there is no trace of the docking station, which is due to appear in spring 2022.

But at least there are new details about the upcoming device, because in addition to a Gigabit Ethernet port, the docking station also has three USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port and a DisplayPort 1.4.

As Review Geek reports, Valve apparently revised the docking station before the release, because it was originally supposed to have three USB ports, but only one of them was supposed to be a 3.1 port.

The revision of the product page indicates that the docking station may be available soon. Also, you may soon be able to replace the noisy Steam Deck fan.
