- The Steam Deck was the only platform to receive a “Golden Joystick” in 2022.
- The Valve handheld was named the best gaming hardware.
- In addition to the Steam Deck, Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring have also received awards.
The Steam Deck has enjoyed such popularity that for a while you could only get the Valve handheld through pre-orders and long waiting lists.
During the GamesRadar Golden JoyStick Awards, the Steam Deck has now also received the appropriate award, as it was voted the best gaming hardware by players.
However, it was mainly games that received awards during the event. Horizon Forbidden West won in the Best Storytelling category, while Elden Ring received the Best Visual Design award.
