The year 2024 is off to a great start for Valve and its platform Steam. The latter has just beaten this weekend a new record for users connected simultaneouslyalmost a year to the day since the previous record, where 33 million players were gathered on Steam.
This Sunday, January 7, 2024, around 3:00 p.m., 33,675,229 users were connected at the same time on Steam, beating the previous record by more than half a million players. The mid-game user peak was also beaten at the same time, with 10,837,140 players simultaneously.
