Towards a “new” Steam Deck yes, but…

We can therefore expect a “new” Steam Deck soon, with some hardware optimizations.

However, this new version of the Steam Deck will not be more powerful than the current model. Like what is practiced on video game consoles, the new versions of the Steam Deck will be able to benefit from various and varied adjustments, starting with a more accessible battery, but also better autonomy or a ventilation system. optimized.

Valve indicates for example that the feeling Steam and Quick Access buttons has already been improved on recent Steam Deck models. The company also indicates that it is currently experimenting with new concepts “ living room », and says she is eager to work with third-party partners.

Finally, although Valve refuses to mention the sales scores of its Steam Deck, according to various sources, the latter would have recently exceeded the milestone of one million units sold.
