Steel Seed reviews its science fantasy universe

Between independent games and AAA, we tend to forget that other projects exist, especially during Summer Game Fest. However, Storm in a Teacup came to present its slightly more ambitious project: Steel Seed. A stealth game in a science fantasy world where humanity is on the verge of extinction. We never said it would be cute or fun either.

With a little Chopin and cold and mechanical environments, survival looks complicated. But Zoe, the protagonist, has no choice but to move forward. Because it could well be that the Salvation of humanity is found in an underground complex. Accompanied by a flying drone, she will have to face a horde of hostile robots who will do anything to stop her. Which will force her to confront them, but not necessarily directly.

Although the action is present in Steel Seed, the developers emphasize the stealth side of the title. They thus offer various ways to overcome enemies, without needing to put oneself in danger. For example, we can use Koby, the flying drone, to spot opposing troops. This can also be used as bait to surprise the machines. Zoe can also count on a very complete range of movements. Whether it’s doing parkour, hiding in the background or even sneaking up behind the backs of his victims.
