Anna-Carina Woitschack and Stefan Mross have split up. After persistent rumors of crisis, the marriage of the hit stars is now on the verge of the end.
After six years of relationship and two years as a couple, Anna-Carina Woitschack, 29, and Stefan Mross, 46, have now announced their separation. There had previously been multiple speculations about a crisis, which the pop singer confirmed to “Bild” in early September.

Whether on the ARD Saturday evening show by Florian Silbereisen, 41, or on “Always Again on Sundays”: Anna-Carina and Stefan often stood together on the hit stages of the republic, inspiring as a singing duo. Now it’s all over. In a joint statement, the hit stars announce their separation via Instagram. “After all the speculation we’ve had lately, we’d like to share ‘our’ truth with you… Life has had many challenges in store for us lately, too many… If anyone can say ‘For better or for worse’ it’s us” , they write about a black and white photo of themselves.
And further: “We had a wonderful and crazy time, fought our way through many a storm and can still look lovingly into each other’s eyes. Separated and yet together, individuals and still a unit. Soul mates and now everyone goes their own way. ” The two would take the good memories of the time together with them, even if they made the separation more difficult.
The marriage of the hit stars was in crisis
In the months before, there was already a huge crisis. The former “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” participant was accused of an alleged affair with ex-“Love Island” participant Adriano Salvaggio in early September, which she denied in an interview with RTL “Punkt 12”.
Shortly thereafter, Mross told “Bild”: “Anna-Carina and I had three difficult months, we were separated a lot. Anna commuted between Rust and Cologne. I wasn’t doing well with it, mentally and morally. I couldn’t handle that we were no longer together 24 hours a day”. The couple would have tried together to “get their problems under control”. But they didn’t make it, even if the singing duo in Silbereisen’s show “The Big Hit Jubilee” on October 22nd was still emphasizedly harmonious.
