According to a report by “Spiegel”, Stefan Raab is planning a new edition of TV total. “However, he apparently will not moderate it himself.

As soon as the cat is out of the bag on “DSDS”, the next TV hammer is rolling towards us: According to information from the “Spiegel” Stefan Raab is working on a new edition of “TV total”. The paper learned this from industry circles. Accordingly, Raab has been planning the return of the successful show under strict secrecy since last year.

However, he will only produce the format with his company Raab TV. Another moderator should be: cabaret artist Sebastian Pufpaff (44). At the moment he is still working for public law and has appeared on the “heute-show”, among other things. Pufpaff also presents the satire show “Not yet shift” on 3Sat.

On which channel will the new “TV Total” be seen?

However, it is not yet clear whether “TV total” will be broadcast again on ProSieben. A spokesman for the station told “Spiegel” that the return “unfortunately cannot be confirmed”, even if the idea sounds “no matter how tempting”. The report also states that the new edition could be seen again as early as autumn, possibly only once a week.

“TV total” ran from 1999 to 2015 on ProSieben. Initially there was only one program a week, from 2001 four a week.
