(CercleFinance.com) – Stellantis announced on Tuesday the launch of a new interactive task management tool intended for professional fleets, the first in the sector, thus confirming its rise in the software segment.
The application, called ‘MyTasks’ and integrated into vehicles, should allow fleet managers to interact with drivers in real time via the vehicle’s infotainment system.
This patented interface should notably allow dispatchers to assign tasks or modify the schedule of drivers, who will be informed via instant notification via a pop-up message appearing on the screen.
As a result, drivers no longer need to use their cell phones and managers no longer need after-sales accessories, Stellantis explains in a statement.
The MyTasks app is set to launch in Stellantis commercial vehicles in Europe in the first half of 2024, and will expand to North America by the end of the year
