(CercleFinance.com) – Stellantis announces that it has led the creation of the world’s first virtual cockpit platform as part of its ‘Stellantis Virtual Engineering Workbench’ (VEW).
This tool should make it possible to ‘provide infotainment content to customers 100 times faster than with previous processes’, assures the manufacturer.
The new platform uses QNX Hypervisor in the cloud which is now available in preview via AWS Marketplace within the ‘QNX Accelerate’ cloud portfolio.
Stellantis can now create virtual versions of vehicle subassemblies without having to modify the main software that makes them work, thus making it possible to reduce to 24 hours, developments previously carried out in several months.
