PARIS (Reuters) – Stellantis announced on Friday that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with 2L Logistics with a view to acquiring a majority stake in the capital of the automotive logistics specialist.

The operation should enable the Franco-Italian-American automobile manufacturer to strengthen the operational performance of its vehicle distribution and logistics activity after the disruptions linked to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of semiconductors.

Asked about the financial terms of the operation, Stellantis did not wish to comment.
