(CercleFinance.com) – Moody’s Investors Service announces that it has changed the outlook for its ratings on Stellantis, from ‘stable’ to ‘positive’, but confirming for the time being its long-term issuer ratings of ‘Baa3’ and ‘( P)P-3’ short term.
The agency justifies its positive outlook by the automaker’s strong operational and financial performance in 2021 and the track record management has built over the past few years to improve its performance.
“We recognize that profit margins and leverage metrics have improved to levels where Moody’s would consider a rating upgrade if those levels were maintained.”
