Sting: Release of duet album is postponed

Sting has to postpone the release of his duet album to March 2021. But there will be new music this year.

The corona pandemic is not only messing up many a schedule for cinema films, musicians also have to react spontaneously to global developments in some cases. Sting (69) has to postpone the release of his new album "Duets" by a few months.

As stated in a press release from his record company Universal Music, the pandemic situation "especially in Europe and Great Britain" assumed an unpredictable dynamic, which also affected parts of their pressing plants. Therefore, "Duets" will not be released on November 27th as planned, but only on March 19th, 2021.

Fans can look forward to new music from Sting on November 27th: The only previously unreleased song on the album, the track "September" with the Italian singer Zucchero (65), will be released on that day.

The rest of the 17 songs are already released duets with, among others, Eric Clapton ("It's Probably Me"), Mary J. Blige ("Whenever I Say Your Name") or Annie Lennox ("We'll Be Together") ).
