PARIS, July 11 (Reuters) – STMicroelectronics STM.PA and GlobalFoundries announced on Monday the creation of a new semiconductor factory in France.
The two groups declare that it is an investment of several billion euros which will benefit from the support of the State, without specifying the exact amount.
“Jobs will be created on the ST site in Crolles”, in Isère, says STMicro, according to which the new production unit will require around 1,000 additional jobs.
