Each French wallet has an average of… 14 reduction cards! We like to accumulate them but they take up space. To put an end to this inconvenience and never forget the one you actually needed for the day's purchase, a very practical and easy-to-use app exists. It's called Stocard and landed in France in 2018. Free and available on Android and iOS, it very simply manages all your loyalty cards in a dematerialized way.
Stocard, how does it work?
Once you have downloaded the app, take your loyalty cards one last time to scan them. For that, it's very simple. Enter the name of your card (eg Leclerc) in the search field or search for it in the list of stores offered. The application then automatically offers you a scanner to pass it over the barcode of your card. Otherwise, a free field allows you to enter your customer number manually. It is done. Your loyalty card is inserted in your virtual wallet, which you will only have to open at the cash desk during your next shopping trip.
By default, cards are sorted alphabetically. However, you have the option of classifying them differently by a built-in function. To modify and order your cards according to your frequency of use, just go to the settings (the three dots at the top right of your screen). This is also where you can delete a card you no longer use at any time.
Finally, be aware that it is also possible to view your points balance if the brand's loyalty program offers this feature. Some stores also offer the option of activating coupons directly in the app and linking them to your registered loyalty cards. When you use the card at the cashier, your activated coupons are automatically applied to it.
