The classic car lovers are traveling with a British “Bean”. Built in 1924, weighs just under 1100 kilograms, 45 hp, four-cylinder. “Theoretically, we could drive at 100 km/h, but the car wouldn’t survive. “We’re taking it easier,” grins the Australian. The classic car has no windows and just a fabric roof. The kidbys sit in the narrow interior of the car, wrapped up in winter jackets, hoods, scarves and gloves. “Once we get to India, we will wish we had the cold and snow of Salzburg back,” laughs Bev.
