Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, English press notes

We are only a few days away from the launch of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, scheduled for March 18. Everyone can start the adventure in advance thanks to the latest free demo, but the press has already been able to browse it in full and deliver its verdict in the context of tests. The first notes are quite divided, but generally correct, as evidenced by the current average of 72/100 on Metacritic.

Almost everyone agrees that the characters and the scenario are hollow and sometimes lunar, Tetsuya Nomura’s bombastic style sometimes becoming laughable. Despite his story and his level design without inspiration, the title has all the same overall seduced thanks to its gameplay deeper than it looks, based on the classic monsters and classes of the saga. His approach Action RPG earns him some comparisons with nioheven if some regret its repetitiveness.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is available for pre-order from €55.30 on Amazon.co.uk.
