Stray: One of the encrypted languages has been decrypted – Stray

By playing Stray, we can realize that the developers at BlueTwelve Studio had fun creating one or more encrypted languages. Indeed, according to several people, on the Reddit page of the game, there would be at least three encrypted languages, in Stray. Nevertheless, one of them has been deciphered.

Indeed, Josh Wirtanen, of the Half-Glass Gaming site, declares that he managed to decode one of the languages used in Stray. Moreover, he shared his discovery in an article, while explaining how he proceeded. With the help of English translations, Josh Wirtane first deciphered the letters displayed on the screen, during a new chapter. This allowed him to translate the entire alphabet. Some translations are actually rather interesting.

However, Josh Wirtanen noted some inconsistencies: the chapter “The Slums” is actually named “Home: Slums Part One”, according to the language in play. In addition, one of the music scores, to be given to Morusque, bears the name “Comme On” in cryptic language, but is translated as “Cool Down”. Nevertheless, Josh Wirtanen said: “ I have to say, as long as you can read the game text, the world [de Stray ] really come to life. You can then decode the graffiti, signs and posters yourself “.

It’s a safe bet that many players are currently trying to decipher the potential other languages available in Stray.
