Street Fighter 6: Ed Boxes Like a Psychopath, Introducing Its Fantastic Gameplay and Release Date

With more than three million players at the latest news, Street Fighter 6 is currently preparing to welcome its third additional fighter via its Year 1 Character Pass. After the whirlwind Rashid And AKI the Viper, It is Ed who is about to arrive. We were treated to a cinematic teaser last month telling us that it would be available in February without further details. Capcom now reveals its trailer for gameplay which is a visual as well as aural treat and also serves to reveal its release date.

Ed will therefore arrive in Street Fighter 6 on February 27 and will box his opponents like never before by using his Psycho Power. Indeed, his offensives are now only made up of punches, something to make one proud Balrog. Its new theme should please fans of rap and the language of Goethe. A internship unpublished taking place in a ruined laboratory of Shadaloo will also be included. You can find the list of his main combat techniques below and find visuals featuring him on the next page.

  • Psycho Flicker : a quick ranged jab that can go in any of three directions to catch the opponent off guard and is vital to Ed’s ability to control space. By holding down the button, Ed will use his Psycho Snatcher from Street Fighter V, which allows him to attract his opponents using Psycho Power tentacles.
  • Psycho Blitz : a series of punches wrapped in Psycho Power.
  • Psycho Storm : Ed’s Level 1 Super Art allows him to hit opponents with a series of high-speed jabs.
  • Psycho Cannon : Ed’s Level 2 Super Art, previously used in Street Fighter V, generates a multi-hit ball of Psycho Power that travels forward.
  • Psycho Chamber : Ed’s Level 3 Super Art turns his opponents into human punching bags by tying their hands and feet, letting him punch them without resistance in the name of Neo Shadaloo.

Note that the ability to change the key display on PC, an additional lighting function for the mode Photo and other elements related to gaming comfort will be implemented via the next update. A Battle Pass Ed is coming! is otherwise currently available including cosmetic elements and the classic Captain Commando playable on arcade machines.

You can get Street Fighter 6 at the house of Micromania from €46.99 on consoles and from €53.99 at the house of Gamesplanet on PC.
