There’s been no shortage of video game adaptations lately, and the production company dj2 Entertainment seems to have made it his hobbyhorse. After producing the films sonicwith remarkable success, the studio is currently working on an adaptation of the game It Takes Twobut other projects are also underway according to the very serious Deadline, which reports thata movie street of rage is in preparation.

The sources of the site then report that the famous beat’em up will be entitled to his film soon, and will be put in the hands of an expert in “fighting”, since it is Derek Kolstad who was chosen to write the script. We know today mainly Kolstad for having created the license John Wickbut also for writing the film nobody. He will therefore be in charge of bringing the story of the game to the big screen.
We do not yet know who will be chosen to direct the film, which is still in its infancy, just as we do not know which episode the feature film intends to be based on, or who will play the famous characters of the license.
