In the aftermath of a new day of mobilization against the pension reform, travelers will have to be patient, while the networks are still disrupted by renewable strikes. “Transport disruptions will continue until Friday“Warned the Minister Delegate for Transport, Clément Beaune, this Wednesday.
For its part, the RATP, however, expects a significant improvement, which should continue this Friday. Le Figaro provides an update on the forecasts of the Ile-de-France region, SNCF and the air sector for the next two days.
At the RATP
Coast RATP, the situation will improve significantly this Thursday, even if the network remains marked by the social movement. According to the management, traffic will be normal on the bus and tram networks, almost normal on the RER A, disrupted in the metro and very disrupted on the RER B.
On the metro side, traffic will be normal on the lines 1, 3bis, 4, 7bis, 14.
On the line 2traffic will be almost normal in the morning, and two out of three trains will run in the afternoon.
On the line 3travelers will be able to take one in two trains in the morning and one in three in the afternoon.
On the line 5traffic will be normal in the morning, and three out of four trains will run in the afternoon.
On the line 6three out of four trains will run in the morning and two out of three in the afternoon.
On the line 7two out of three trains will run.
Line 8 will offer one in three trains.
The traffic will bealmost normal” on the line 9.
Line 10 will have one in two trains.
On the line 11 and the line 12traffic will be almost normal in the morning, and two out of three trains will run in the afternoon.
Finally, on the line 13one in two trains will run between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
On the RER side, the line AT will offer three out of four trains, with an interconnection maintained at Nanterre Prefecture. On the line B, disruptions are expected, with one out of two trains during peak hours, and two out of three during off-peak hours. The interconnection is interrupted at Gare du Nord.
On the surface, traffic will be normal on the Orlyval and the network busas well as on the side of trams.
For Friday, the situation should improve again, according to the RATP: traffic will be normal on the bus and tram networks, and almost normal on line A of the RER. He should be disturbed”on a few metro lines only“, but would remain very disturbed on the RER B.
AT SNCF
To the SNCF, a majority of railway workers have already voted to renew the strike, in Montparnasse, Versailles, Metz, Nantes, Toulouse and Strasbourg. The disturbances will therefore continue this Thursday: a TGV Inoui out of three are expected to circulate that day, as well as one Ouigo on three. In detail, the North axis should see two out of five trains running, against one out of two on the East axis, one out of three on the Atlantic axis and one out of two on the Southeast axis. Only one in ten trains would be offered from province to province, however.
Internationally, three Eurostar out of four would run, compared to two trains Thalys out of three and two out of five trains on connections withGermany and the Swiss. No trains would run to or from theSpainand one in three on the link with theItaly.
In France, two TER out of five should circulate on average, depending on the region. THE Intercities would also remain marked by the social movement, with one train in four during the day, and no train at night from Wednesday to Thursday and from Thursday to Friday.
In Ile-de-France, two out of three trains would be offered on lines H and U, one out of two on lines J, K, L and P, one out of three on line N and one out of five on line R, provides the SNCF. On the RER side, three out of four trains would run on line A, one out of two on lines B and E, one out of three on line C and one out of five on line D.
Traffic will also remain disrupted on Friday, estimates the company, which also suggests to its travelers the possibility of postponing or canceling their trips and of “favor telework“. According to Didier Mathis, the secretary general of Unsa-Ferroviaire, the disruptions could be effective “until Saturday“. “We take stock in the inter-union tomorrow morning to see what we can do“, he adds.
In the airline industry
In the airline sector, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) is already asking airlines to cancel 20% of flights at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport and 30% at the airports of Orly, Nice, Beauvais, Bordeaux , Lyon, Lille, Toulouse, Marseille, Montpellier and Nantes. For Clément Beaune, the objective is “avoid last minute cancellations“. Nevertheless, “despite these preventive measures, disruptions and delays are nevertheless to be expected“, underlines the administration in a press release.
