The Evil Dead game on the road to success
The launch on Friday the 13th will not have had any adverse effects on Evil Dead: The Game, which is doing extremely well. The asymmetrical game where one dismembers Corpses by the dozen has reached the more than 500,000 copies sold in just five days on consoles and PC.
World War Z, another adaptation from Saber Interactive, had crossed the million mark after a full week, and the 2 million copies passed after a month. It will therefore be very interesting to follow the evolution of the Evil Dead game, but at present the success is there. Especially since it is a so-called AA title, with a smaller budget than AAA. In view of the sales, the future of the software may be bright with a good follow-up, and it really needs it.
