Unknown Worlds currently developing Subnautica 2, a sequel to its wildly popular aquatic survival game. A title published by Kraftonowner of the studio, the latter recently indicated in its recent financial statement that Subnautica 2 would be a multiplayer game live serviceenough to make fans of the first opus jump.
Unknown Worlds see you quickly spoke to reassure fans, the publisher’s statement was poorly worded. Subnautica will be playable cooperatively for up to four players, a completely optional multiplayer mode, players will be able to enjoy the title alone if they want. Concerning the economic model live servicethis is again overused. Subnautica 2 will first be available in Early Access and will be entitled to updates for several years, like the previous parts. However, the developer makes it clear that there will be no no Season Passno Battle Pass and no subscription.
Let the fans rest assured, Subnautica 2 should ultimately be quite similar to the other opuses, but with cooperative additions which will undoubtedly change the gaming experience quite a bit. However, you will have to be patient, because Unknown Worlds does not plan to launch this sequel this year, we will have to wait until at least 2025.
