Succession, season 4: the creator of the series reveals that the scenario is soon completed

The creator of “Succession”, Jesse Armstrong, revealed to the American site Variety that the writing of the script for season 4 is nearing its end.

Information revealed while he is in London to finalize the script with the rest of the authors. “We are almost done with the writing of season 4, here in London, with the American authors who made the trip. We have a really good group in which we talk about the nuances of each of the characters, the universe of the series, and what we want to do,” he explains.

Jesse Armstrong also revealed that once the script is completed, it will be sent to the actors to get their impressions of the scripts. “It’s useful, they’re smart, and they have interesting opinions about their character,” he continues.

Of British origin, Jesse Armstrong took advantage of his presence in London to go collect the prize for best actor in a supporting role obtained by Matthew Macfayden – who plays the character of Tom Wambsgans – during the last ceremony of the BAFTA Awards, the ceremony awarding the best television shows of the year in the United Kingdom.

“Matthew is a lovely man. As it is his evening, I am not ashamed to say that he is a pleasant person to work with. (…) He is an actor capable of playing any role”, he launched on stage when collecting the prize.

Asked about the future of Succession, Jesse Armstrong preferred to remain evasive. “I’m not going to answer that question precisely. I don’t think it should go on forever. But we still take so much pleasure to work on it for the moment, ”he said.
