Such a great sun (spoilers): Serge Levars wants to clear Hélène, this one spins

On May 18 in Un si grand soleil, Philippe Verneuil is threatened, Carole Martinez is under police protection, while when Serge Levars tells Hélène of his plan to get her out of prison, she spins.

In the episode ofsuch a big sun Wednesday, May 18, Serge Levars (Laurent Frattale) follows his lead on the treatment taken by Hélène (Sophie Le Tellier) for her hypertension. During an interview with Dr Alphand (Frédéric van den Driessche), the latter confirms to him that this drug can sometimes cause behavioral changes. His hypothesis is therefore credible. But Alain qualifies his point: it is extremely rare and no case has been recorded in France. Mostly, this was noticed in patients who changed their dosage on their own. Hélène being a nurse, she knows the risks of overmedication. Cécile (Marie-Gaëlle Cals) has received the second forensic report, requested by master Levars. This asserts that the track of drug poisoning cannot be completely excluded.Judge Alphand therefore requested the appointment of a medical expert to re-examine Hélène and validate or not the hypothesis of her lawyer.

In the visiting room, the latter affirms to his client thatshe will soon be released from prison. Nevertheless, she will be hospitalized in order to undergo medical and psychological examinations. Faced with Hélène’s astonishment, Serge explains to her that if his hypothesis is confirmed, he will be able to plead irresponsibility at the time of the facts and will therefore obtain a dismissal. But Hélène categorically refuses. In a paranoid delirium, she is convinced that it was Florent (Fabrice Deville) who gave her this idea. That they are wicks. For her part, Claire (Mélanie Maudran) was made aware by Alain of the hypothesis of the side effects of Hélène’s treatment. She is furious. She understood that this is a tactic to make Hélène irresponsible for her actions. This worries her so much that in the night, Claire has a nightmare in which Hélène is back in the hospital.

Philippe Verneuil victim of intimidation in prison

Carole Martinez (Valérie Decobert), the secretary of Philippe Verneuil (François Bureloup) was the victim of an assassination attempt the day before, in the middle of the street. But the police have no leads. The surveillance cameras do not make it possible to identify the motorcycle of the attackers and even less their faces. And the neighborhood survey doesn’t turn up anything either.. Carole Martinez is turned upside down by what she has just gone through. During her testimony, in front of Alex (Benjamin Bourgois), she is in tears. She imagines it has something to do with what she told them about her boss and regret testifying. She feels in danger. Her lawyer, Guilhem (Manuel Blanc), suggests that she take refuge with a friend or family, which she refuses for fear of endangering them. Instead, Carole decides to go to the hotel.

According to the latest elements of the investigation, the assassination attempt suffered by Carole Martinez is directly linked to her testimony. So she would be the target of drug traffickers and still in danger. Judge Alphand then suggested that her lawyer place her under judicial protection. Guilhem is reassured, for him, this is the best solution for his client. On his side, Philippe Verneuil shares his cell with François Moreau. Well informed, he learned during his walk that his fellow prisoner was a business manager. He then makes him understand that if he wants to stay alive, Philippe will have to fulfill his protection within the prison. Shortly after, he has an appointment with his lawyer to whom he confides living in hell. And as long as the investigation is ongoing, the company’s computers will not be returned, so he risks going out of business. Faced with the distress of his client, Florent promises to raise the subject with the judge.
