An investigation was opened after the suicide of Maëva Frossard. Trolls ambushing a community that has become hostile at the mercy of the acrimonious videos of his ex-companion, the relatives and subscribers of the YouTuber portray this galaxy of online hatred in “Liberation”.
On her Instagram account, Mava Chou released her best acting game: “I often ask myself the question […], how are people in front of their phones? ” Implied: when they watch it on the Internet. A few seconds later, this young blonde woman with big blue eyes goes wild, imitating to (almost) perfection a herd of guinea fowl. A snub sent to those that this youtubeuse calls her “Haters” and who, for two years, inundated him with insults.
Today, the joke goes back seven months but still amuses its subscribers and relatives. A mark of what Marion, her best friend, calls her “grain of madness”. “She was clowning, making faces, and it didn’t scare her to share them publicly”, she proudly tells Libé. The day before Christmas Eve, it was she who announced the death of her friend, Maëva Frossard in civilian life, on Facebook: “I ask you to respect his family by not trying to find out more”, she wrote. But since the announcement, made by the
