Bye-bye everyday life, hello vacation! Not only do we leave stress and endless to-do lists behind us, we also swap our everyday wardrobe for stylish beach looks and exciting city outfits on vacation.

How about a round of “I’ll pack my suitcase and take with me…”? The game is not only perfect brain training, in our fashion edition it also turns you into a stylish tourist. We tell you here which trends are perfect for your holiday and should not be missing in any suitcase.

Trend 1: fishnet pants

Let’s go to the beach! The bathing suit is already in the bag and SPF has already been applied. All that’s missing is beachwear that can be thrown on and taken off just as quickly and visually enhances the beach look. Absolute trend in summer: fishnet and crocheted pants. They are trendy, perfect as a cover-up in extreme sun, but also look good in everyday life. Heidi Klum proves how good airy fishnet pants look on the beach. She combines the trendy part with a bikini, oversized shirt and hat.

Trend 2: A stylish hat

Nothing conjures up holiday feelings faster than a sun hat. Do not you think? Then try it out at home, combine a (sun) hat with a wide brim (they are particularly modern right now) with an outfit of your choice – and bang, it’s a stylish beach look. So that the hat does not get any unsightly creases in the suitcase, it is best to hang it on the outside of your hand luggage.

Something that should not be missing in any suitcase is a colorful patterned cloth. This can be tied as a pareo or as a headscarf. Both exude a summer feeling!

If you think that’s all, you should watch this video. Here Maxime Herbord shows how quickly a summer scarf can be tied as a top.

Trend 3: Semi-transparent looks

From the beach to the hotel or just to the city center: The bikini or swimsuit can be perfectly integrated into summery looks without having to take two outfits with you. The trick: rely on semi-transparent fabrics such as organza or clothing with a crocheted look. You can easily put them on over your bikini or swimsuit. The result: you feel attracted, but still dressed for summer.

Trend 4: cast off!

A material that should also not be missing in any suitcase is linen. Whether as a top, trousers or dress – the fabric is particularly pleasant on the skin, breathable and easy to care for. Especially modern are oversized shirts made of linen, either in cream colors or bright colors like green or pink. Worn open, you can also show off your bikini top perfectly.

Trend 5: Mules in cream colors

We love mules! They are comfortable, feminine and can be combined with a crocheted dress or paper bag pants in a particularly summery way. Add a raffia bag and the holiday look is perfect! When it comes to colours, this summer we are focusing on complexion-flattering nuances. Important: So that the shoe comes into its own, you should definitely choose a hem length that does not cover the ankle, i.e. cropped instead of Marlene pants.

Trend 6: basket bags

Basket bags have long been an integral part of the fashion world and a must-have for every holiday! They are a practical companion for the beach, as they are spacious and dirt-repellent. For the city, best combined with blouse dresses, wedges or crocheted tops. The bags are now given a luxury upgrade with leather handles.
