The “summer house of the stars” curse has struck again. Maurice Dziwak and Ricarda Raatz have already separated.
The “summer house” curse has struck again. One day before the start of the eighth season of “The Summer House of the Stars” RTL announced that the first couple separated after the recording. Maurice “Mo” Dziwak (25) and Ricarda “Ricky” Raatz (31) were caught.
The couple met in 2022 on the dating show “Are You The One – Reality Stars in Love” on RTL+. A year later, the couple’s fight on the parent station was fatal for Maurice and Ricarda. After the recording was completed long ago, Maurice is said to have no longer contacted Ricarda. He ignored her attempts to contact her.
“I didn’t like the attitude on site at all”
They have now met again for the first time in front of the RTL cameras. It becomes clear why the relationship failed. Ricarda wasn’t motivated enough by Maurice at the “Sommerhaus” games. “I didn’t like the attitude on site at all,” he says now.
In the first episode, the on RTL+ can already be seen, the mauling is already apparent. The couples have to ride through a parkour on two bicycles tied together. While she laughs after failed attempts, he doggedly takes on the challenge. “You don’t have to talk to me anymore today,” he croaks after failing.
Even earlier in the relationship he was “moody and loud” and “put her under pressure,” Ricarda tells RTL.

The curse of the “summer house of the stars” is a running gag in the reality industry. Maurice and Ricarda are the 25th couple in eight seasons to split up after the taping. Micaela Schäfer (39) and Felix Steiner, Helena Fürst (49) and Ennesto Monté (48), Johannes Haller (35) and Yeliz Koc (29) as well as Andrej Mangold (36) and Jennifer Lange (29) are the best-known victims of the curse .
By the way, Ricarda and Maurice are not the only couple that fell apart over the bicycle game in the opening episode of season eight. More breakup news in the next few weeks wouldn’t be a surprise.
