Super Pumped: when will the series on the founder of Uber be released?


With “Super Pumped”, the American channel Showtime wishes to offer anthologies centered on the big American bosses. And the first mini-series will be dedicated to Uber founder Travis Kalanick.

Called “The Battle For Uber”, and adapted from the eponymous book-survey by Mike Isaac published in 2019, it will see the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt play the boss, whose irresistible rise to the head of the company will be followed. As well as the eventful behind the scenes of this start-up which represents the tremendous energy of Silicon Valley, but also its possible abuses.

It will be launched on February 27 on the American channel Showtime. In France, no broadcaster is known for the moment. But it’s a safe bet that this will happen on Canal +, which has an exclusive agreement with Showtime.

At the cast, viewers will also find Kyle Chandler in the role of Bill Gurley, the co-founder of Uber. Hank Azaria will play Tim Book, the CEO of Apple, as well as Uma Thurman as Arianna Huffington, the co-founder of The Huffington Post.
