Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific’s weapon meta moves again with one weapon making a return to the deep end.
After the update on January 12, one of Warzone Pacific’s assault rifles that was overpowered and nerfed finally received a new buff, making this weapon an interesting option especially with a specific class.
The Season 1 mid-season update brought a lot of nerfs & buffs to freshen up the meta. Despite the new SMG Welgun having had its heyday becoming one of the best weapons in the battle royale, a former overpowered AR is serious about reclaiming the throne.
The Automaton is a relatively accurate and powerful assault rifle.
If we go back a few weeks to the launch of Warzone Pacific and Caldera, we remember that players tested pretty much every weapon to find out which was going to be the best over time and the meta. Players quickly realized the power of the Automaton with its low recoil and consistent ranged damage.
Quickly, it was the assault rifle of choice for most players on the game until it got nerfed by the developers. Its recoil has been adjusted, making the Assault Rifle significantly less reliable.
But recently, the Automaton received a new buff that really improved the weapon:
“Hotel Assault Rifle (Vanguard)
- Decreased recoil
- Decreased recoil deviation”
Some players believe that this assault rifle is finally really back and could become the best in its category. It will probably take us a few more days before we get to the bottom of it, but you can already try it for yourself.
