Supersex: Netflix is about to release a series on… the life of Rocco Siffredi

On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, Netflix confirmed that filming for a series centered on porn star, Rocco Siffredi was underway. It should be released in the course of 2023.

In recent years, Netflix has caused a sensation with the broadcast of several sex-centric serieslike the sulphurous 365 days. And if in this series, it is the mobster Massimo who causes sensation, a new Italian series could well exceed that which is inspired by a trilogy. Indeed, the streaming platform announced on Tuesday September 27 that a series centered on the famous Italian pornographic actor Rocco Siffredi would be suitable for the small screen.

According to the first information, the series titled “Supersex” will be divided into seven episodes and 350 minutes and broadcast during the year 2023. If the filming is currently underway in Italy, it has already been announced that it is not the Italian stallion who will give life to his character since he is 58 years old, but that it will be the actor Alessandro Borghi who will interpret it.

The series will return to the origins of Rocco Siffredi

According to Netflix, the series will question the origins of Rocco Siffredi and in particular his childhood in a very Catholic environment, a world far removed from that of pornography. According to screenwriter Francesca Manieri: “Supersex is the story of a man who takes seven episodes and 350 minutes to say ‘I love you’, to accept that the demon in his body is compatible with love. To do this, he must expose the only part of him that we have never seen: his soul.“.

It will therefore not only be about sex in the series, which will also explore the emotional side of man to 1,500 movies. If it will be necessary to wait a few months before being able to discover Supersex, the series already promises to be a success. Indeed, Rocco Siffredi is known worldwide and his eponymous documentary directed by Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai had already been a real success when it was released in 2016.
