In the search for a possible successor for Benjamin Pavard, who was willing to emigrate, FC Bayern Munich has, according to media reports, targeted a German national soccer player. As reported by the “Münchner Abendzeitung” and the “Sportbuzzer” portal, among others, defender Lukas Klostermann is under discussion with the Bayern bosses. Klostermann’s contract with RB expires in the summer of 2024. In this transfer period, the Bundesliga club from Saxony could still receive a fee for the 27-year-old.

Last season, the 25-year-old complained several times about not having enough playing time, he had come to most of his appearances for Munich before the Winter World Cup in Qatar. Now he has to compete with Klostermann.
