  • Jürgen Klopp has surprisingly announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season.
  • The German shaped an era in his 9 years at Anfield.
  • He won the Champions League in 2019 and the English championship title in 2020.

Jürgen Klopp will quit as Liverpool FC team manager at the end of the season. «I’m running out of energy. I’ve known for a while that I would have to announce it at some point. I know that I can’t do the job over and over again,” said the 56-year-old in a video that the traditional English club published on Friday.

Klopp extended his contract early until 2026 in April 2022. The former master coach of Borussia Dortmund joined Liverpool FC in October 2015. With the club he won, among other things, the Champions League in 2019 and the English championship in 2020.
