The “Tagesschau” spokeswoman comments on her fit of laughter
The “Tagesschau” is rarely this funny. In an issue of “Moma,” spokeswoman Susanne Daubner could hardly contain herself from laughing. But what did the presenter actually have to be so amused about?
An edition of the “Tagesschau” became unintentionally funny on Wednesday morning, September 27, 2023. News anchor Susanne Daubner, 62, had to interrupt the live broadcast several times because of a fit of laughter.
Susanne Daubner: “I’m really sorry now”
“I can do it,” Daubner finally explained and finished her text without making any mistakes. Apparently Sven Lorig was actually responsible for her fit of laughter, as she confirmed at the end in a conversation with the “Moma” moderator. The 51-year-old then sent an apology to the “Tagesschau” studio. Daubner’s laugh flash is now being widely shared on X, formerly Twitter – and celebrated by users. “It’s nice when it’s human,” they say, among other things.
The “Tagesschau” spokeswoman explains her fit of laughter
A little later, the “Tagesschau” spokeswoman herself speaks out and reveals what was actually so funny. “It was due to a situation that I can’t really explain. Still engrossed in a new report, I heard Sven Lorig in the background and thought: Oh dear, I’m already on air. And just then I had to laugh.” , she explains to “Bild”. And further: “It felt like it took an eternity. Thank God I regained my control.”
