SVOD platforms spent 170 million euros on promotion in the first half of 2023


Cumulatively, over the first half of 2023, the platforms invested 170 million euros to promote their services and programs: 71 million in the first quarter and 99 million in the second quarter. The platform that spends the most is Amazon Prime Video which spent more than 55 million euros over the first six months of the year, followed by Disney+ with 29 million euros invested.

The platforms have a clear preference for the promotion of their series which capture 28 million euros in the first quarter and 22 million euros in the second quarter. cinema, for its part, captured a little less than 8 million euros of investments in the second quarter.

Television is the preferred media for platforms which have spent more than 100 million euros since the start of the year.
