STOCKHOLM, May 17 (Reuters) – Sweden and Finland will both submit their respective applications to NATO on Wednesday to join the Atlantic military alliance, Sweden’s Prime Minister said on Tuesday.
“In Sweden and Finland, we also agree to carry out this whole procedure hand in hand and we will submit our requests together tomorrow,” said Magdalena Andersson during a joint press conference with the president. Finnish Sauli Niinisto in Stockholm.
