Sweet Tooth Season 2: In the first teaser, Gus and his friends fight against the evil plans of Dr. singh

• The second season of “Sweet Tooth” starts in April 2023 on Netflix.
• We had to wait almost two years until the comic book adaptation was extended.
• Now a first teaser has been released, in which Gus no longer flees from his fate, but fights against it.

With a chocolate surprise, Netflix not only attacked the actors of the series “Sweet Tooth”. The sweet surprise on Instagram was also the official announcement that there will be a Season 2 of the DC Comics adaptation.

Incidentally, only about a third of the original material in the series has been told so far. It is quite possible that Netflix has several subsequent seasons planned straight away.

Sweet Tooth Season 2: Start Date

Almost 22 months after the start of Season 1, “Sweet Tooth” is coming back to Netflix in spring 2023. The streaming service announced via Twitter that the eight-episode season will end on Sept April 27, 2023 is published.

The hauntingly dark season 2 teaser “Sweet Tooth” follows Gus’ battle against the relentless research the adults want to do on the special children. The hybrids are the solution to healing, as Dr. Aditya Singh emphasized in a conspiratorial voice.

In addition to a first video, pictures were also released showing the drama of the second season. Gus regroups with new friends and is tired of running away.

Sweet Tooth Season 2: Storyline

Season 1 of “Sweet Tooth” held a not so rosy ending for the heroes of the series. Abbot has taken control of the reservation and takes Gus prisoner. So he has a lot of hybrids at his disposal, on which Dr. Singh can do research to find a cure for the virus.

The children can still give each other strength, but as soon as they become research objects, they face death.

Jepperd and Aimee already have a plan. They want to break into the laboratory together and save their children. Season 2 will show whether they survive their endeavor.

Gus also assumed his mother was dead. However, the last scene of the season finale reveals that she is still alive. Bear can radio her. She’s in Alaska in some kind of lab. She’s probably also looking for an antidote to the virus.

Sweet Tooth Season 2: Cast & Production

Season 2 sees Christian Convery (“Cocaine Bear”) reprise his role as Gus. Also Nonso Anozie (“Zoo”) as Tommy Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar (“Enola Holmes 2”) as Dr. Singh, Will Forte (“The Afterparty”) as Gus’ father, Dania Ramirez (“Alert”) as Aimee, Neil Sandilands (“The Flash”) as General Steven Abbot and Stefania LaVie Owen (“Don’t Make Me Go” ) recur as Bear. James Brolin is also back as the narrator. Newcomer is the young actress Amie Donald (“M3gan”) as Maya Monkey.

Robert Downey Jr. (“Perry Mason”) and Susan Downey (“California Clan”) will remain executive producers. Also working with them are Jim Mickle (“Hap and Leonard”), Amanda Burrell (“Perry Mason”) and Linda Moran (“Son”). Evan Moore (“If I go”) is also on board as a producer.
