Swen Capital Partners announces the launch of ‘SWEN Mezz Flex 3’

(Boursier.com) — SWEN Capital Partners, a benchmark player in unlisted sustainable investment, is strengthening its activity in mezzanine debt with the launch of SWEN Mezz Flex 3, after a first closing of 53 million euros. On this occasion, the management team of this fund announces a first operation to accompany Sparring Capital in the financing of the company Afitexinov. The FPCI [Fonds professionnel de Capital Investissement]classified as Article 8 within the meaning of the SFDR Regulations, is aimed at a clientele of professional investors from a subscription commitment of one million euros.

With more than a hundred professional clients and a unique ecosystem, SWEN Capital Partners is launching the third vintage of its fund dedicated to mezzanine debt, SWEN Mezz Flex 3, to support the growth of French and European SMEs. Its flexible approach (mezzanine + equity) makes it possible to offer management a financing structure adapted to the needs of companies, in a macroeconomic context of tightening of rates and senior financing conditions by traditional banking players. A favorable situation for debt providers in their search for the best financing opportunities to create sustainable value over time.

With more than 130 million euros invested in 36 transactions, SWEN Capital Partners has a solid “track record” in the mezzanine sector for more than 10 years. Composed of a team of 4 people dedicated to investment, The management team, made up of 4 people, aims to raise 150 million euros by the end of the year to continue its investments in France (more 50%) and in the rest of Europe.

The fund will invest directly in 3 promising sectors: production and services for tomorrow, well-being and health, and tech (data/software). The target companies are small caps whose value is between 10 and 100 million euros. The management team is considering between 15 and 20 deals over the life of the fund for tickets between 3 and 10 million euros.
