The period is in the financial balance sheets on the side of the major groups in the video game industry and it is the turn of nintendo to spend this Thursday there with a traditional report available on its site, taking into account the sales figures as of December 31, 2021. At the previous count, we were at 92.87 million Switches sold worldwide, and the Christmas holidays passed by there, as well as the launch of the OLED model (read our test) since 10.67 million units are added. These are therefore 103.54 million consoles in circulation which the manufacturer can boast ofcrossing a symbolic milestone, and this faster than the PS4 and the Wii in their time, and moreover exceeding the 101.63 million sales of the latter!
In terms of softwarewe go from 681 million to 766.41 million cartridges and digital versions sold, or 85.41 million in three months. The list of exclusives first-party Nintendo the most sold has therefore also been updated with, unsurprisingly, the direct arrival in ninth position of the 4G remakes Pokemon and an eviction of Splatoon 2 of this classification.
