Announced for October 6, Sword Art Online Last Recollection unveils its gameplay for the first time. In this new video, Bandai Namco shows us some elements of its title.
After a brief overview of the Territory of Darkness, the video introduces us to the combat mechanics in a little more detail. Players have more than 10 types of weapons but also various and varied powers. Enough to adapt their tactics according to the opponents encountered and their preference of play.
Cooperative combat will take on its full meaning, including the possibility of using Command mode to give orders to your companions during battles. So you can activate their power as you see fit.
The combat phases seem to be sorely lacking in fluidity at the moment, we greatly hope that they will be of better quality when the title is launched. Especially for a game that seems to want to bet on very dynamic fights.
As a reminder, Sword Art Online Last Recollection will be released on October 6, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
