Martine Sokal and her children Hugo and Jules, responsible for the creative legacy of Benoit Sokal, also share their support and pride in this adaptation. “My husband would have been honored to see his work develop into an animated series. He created a magical, timeless world with Syberia, and I’m thrilled that new audiences can now access it through this unique adaptation.”

Ashargin Poiré, founding president of What The Prod, explains to us that “20 years after the publication of the first opus of Syberia, our ambition is to create an animated series adapted from the universe of the game, intended for fans as much as non- insiders, by bringing new and enriched writing worthy of the great dystopian or uchronic fiction series. The artistic direction, style and quality of the animation will offer the viewer an experience situated on the border between reality and fantasy”.

The project will be aimed primarily at young adults and does not yet have a broadcaster. It will take time to materialize anyway, so you have plenty of time until then to find out Syberia: The World Beforeavailable from €38.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
