A change that greatly displeased Internet users who consider that this choice has “destroy” her true nature of hair and didn’t show off her at all. For some Internet users, this miss is due to the lack of competence of the hairdressers of the election to deal with curly hair, deploring failures every year. “The Miss France committee should hire specialized hairdressers for Afro hair, because every year there are disasters”, wrote one of them on Twitter.

Invited on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” this Monday, December 13, Sylvie Tellier reacted to this controversy. And according to the director of the organization Miss France, this hair choice would be that of the candidate. “What they are told is that: ‘You have hairdressers, makeup artists who are there to sublimate you. You only leave your makeup and hairdressing position when it pleases you. It’s very important'”. If she understands that this change may have appealed to viewers, who saw her with her beautiful afro cut in her portrait, Sylvie Tellier believes that everyone’s tastes must be respected: “After all, we have the right to do what we like with our hair”.
