It was in 2016 that Nightdive Studios unveiled System Shock Remastered Edition, an all-new version of the role-playing game and shooter from Looking Glass Studios. Since then, the title has changed a lot, between a move toUnrealEnginean increased ambition and a change of name for SystemShock short.
But now, the fans are getting impatient, especially since the game had been financed thanks to a participatory campaign on Kickstarter. And it is via this platform that the developers took the floor at the start of the year to announce that System Shock will arrive in March 2023 on computers and normally on home consoles. Nightdive Studios is aware that this is not the first time he announces a release period, but this time he is confident that development has been in the final stages for a while (everything related to optimization, bug fixing and localization) and he recalls that he received the support of PrimeMatter for this remake.
This time, so it’s normally the right one, SystemShock is expected in March 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can already pre-order the game against €39.99 on GOG.com.
