The manufacturer Kymco is preparing to launch a new electric scooter in Europe.

This is the Kymco Like 125 EV, which promises about 200 km of autonomy, but subject to certain conditions however.

The latest addition to the Kymco electric scooter range arrives in the Old Continent

The Taiwanese brand Kymco announces the upcoming availability of an “EV” version of its Like 125 scooter on the European market. This is obviously a 100% electric version, which should be displayed at a rather tempting price, namely around 1,200 euros.

At this price, we will therefore be entitled to a “real” scooter, powered by a 3.2 kW motor (and 124 Nm of torque), which is of course responsible for transmitting its energy to the rear wheel of the car. Under the seat, there are two removable batteries, to which is added an internal battery of 550 Wh if necessary (irremovable for its part).

Under the seat, there is a 27 L storage space to store a helmet, a computer… or additional batteries. Indeed, the user can add no less than three IONEX batteries, which then guarantees the Kymco Like 125 EV a range of 200 km.

The scooter also has a small integrated GPS, a USB port, not to mention the essential indicators. Kymco promises a total weight of 110 kg, with the presence here of a “reverse” as well as a disc braking system at the front, and drum at the rear.

It remains to be seen now when this new Kymco Like 125 EV electric scooter will be available in Europe, and whether it will indeed be displayed at the advertised price of around 1,200 euros.
