Tapo: the new range of connected sensors and detectors for the home is on sale

At CES 2022, TP-Link announced the arrival of several new products, including indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras, but also various connected sensors for the home. This Tapo range is now offered for sale.

The centerpiece is the Tapo H100 connected hub, essential for operating the various products in the new range. In addition to its hub function, it incorporates an audible alarm which is triggered by the various movement and opening sensors, etc. It can also act as a doorbell by placing a connected switch on the entrance door of the fireplace. The sale price is set at €24.90.

To trigger this alarm or receive notifications on the app in the event of movement at home, you can count on the Tapo T100 detector with a 120° field of vision and 7 m range. In addition to security needs, it will be able to turn on connected lighting automatically in one of the rooms of the house when a person is detected. Recommended price, €22.90.

When it comes to monitoring the openings of the front door, windows or patio doors of the home, the Tapo T110 model takes care of it. Inexpensive with a price of 19 €. It comes with 3M adhesive for easy installation on most surfaces.

Three wireless connected switches are also available to trigger other connected objects. The first Tapo S220 is the simplest and consists of two actionable buttons. It is also possible to act on it from the Tapo application or to use voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It is offered at the price of 35 €.

The other two have the same circular shape and the same functionality. But unlike the Tapo S200B, the Tapo S200D version is sold with a stand included. It is possible to configure three actions depending on whether you perform a single press, a double press or a rotation to adjust the power of a light.

They are used by placing them on a surface, fixed with screws or adhesive, but also on magnetic surfaces such as the door of a refrigerator. The first model is sold at 20 € and 5 € more with the base.

Finally, the Tapo T310 and T315 sensors will monitor the temperature and humidity in the rooms of the house. They display the results on the app or on an integrated screen for the T315 model. With a measurement every 2 s, they display the temperature with an accuracy of 0.3°C and the humidity with a margin of error of only 3%.

Placed on a piece of furniture or attached to a surface, they can alert the user when the measurements go out of the defined range. They are offered at public prices of €20 and €34.90 respectively.
