Tarek Boudali at the director of Tuche: the trailer for Liar, a concept comedy

The trailer for Olivier Baroux’s new comedy, Liar has just been unveiled. The film led by Tarek Boudali and Artus will be released in our theaters on July 13.

What if your lies come true? This is the starting point of Liar, Olivier Baroux’s new comedy.

Carried by Tarek Boudali, Artus, Pauline Clément and Louise Coldefy, the feature film follows Jerome, a compulsive liar. His family and friends no longer support his lies and do everything to change his attitude.

Not listening to what is being reproached to him, Jérôme sinks deeper and deeper into lies until the day when a curse strikes him: all his lies come to life. Then begins for him a real nightmare.

Shot in Nice, in the famous Victorine studios, the comedy is the thirteenth production by Olivier Baroux, to whom we owe the Les Tuche saga, which in 4 films brought more than 14 million spectators to the French rooms.

Liar is the French adaptation of the Quebec comedy of the same name by Émile Gaudreault. Led by Louis-José Houde and Antoine Bertrand, the feature film was a real success in Canada, totaling $6 million.Very quickly, French producers became interested in the film and Gaumont bought the adaptation rights.

Liar will be released in theaters on July 13.
