On Friday evening Taylor Swift presented her short film “All Too Well”. She then surprised her fans with a live performance.
On Friday evening (November 12th) Taylor Swift (31, “Red”) premiered in New York City of her short film “All Too Well: The Short Film”. After the 13-minute performance, the pop singer surprised her fans with the first acoustic performance of the ten-minute version of the song “All Too Well” – seen in a video, that uploaded “Variety” to Twitter.
Fans Made Taylor Swift Song “What It Is Now”
Swift had released her album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” hours earlier, a highly anticipated re-recording of her 2012 LP. Swift spoke on stage in New York According to “People” on the importance of the song “All Too Well”, which was not released as a single. “This is a song that wouldn’t be special on any setlist I play … A record company didn’t pick this song as a single. We never made a video about it,” she told her fans. “You made him what he is now.” The song is “very personal” and “difficult to perform live”.
Starbucks Celebrates “Red (Taylor’s Version)”
Not only Taylor Swift fans had been looking forward to the release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” for a long time. As reported by CNN, among others, also wanted the coffee house giant Starbucks to celebrate the special day in the USA appropriately – and promptly dedicated the drinks “Taylor’s Latte” and “Taylor’s Version” to the singer.
The new recording of the album contains well-known songs like “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, “22” or “I Knew You Were Trouble”. There are also nine previously unpublished titles on it. After a dispute over the music rights to their previous LPs, Taylor Swift announced in 2019 that they would re-record their previous albums as “Taylor’s Version”.
